A friend on the west coast found it out for me: It means having the sensation of always being cold.
Eerie, since we had been complaining about how cold the office was all day.

I have no clue what that means, but i just randomly checked out your blog today. The poor dolphin, i totally didn't even hear about it. My new job keeps me wrapped up in beach issues, piping plover and seabeach amaranth for the most part. I hope to see you soon at the wedding in Dec!
